XLS reporting support
If you are on
Virtual Appliance 1.25-1+ then just use it, nothing is required, everything is already installed.
In any other case you would need to install a few Perl modules to make it work.
You will be prompted for its install when you click on the Excel report.
Install Perl module
perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel, use one of methods below:
Linux (select one of following menthods)

YUM
PDF modules (including dependencies) can be installed from EPEL repositories (fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL)
# yum install epel-release
# yum install perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel
Note that epel-release might not be in your Red Hat base repository especially for RHEL 6.x and olders.
Install CentOS package instead epel-release-7-11.noarch.rpm.

# apt-get install libspreadsheet-writeexcel-perl

# umask 022
# cpan -i Spreadsheet::WriteExcel

Download it from www.lpar2rrd.com/download-static/perl-XLS-lib.tar.gz
If your web browser gunzips it automatically then just rename it: mv perl-XLS-lib.tar.gz perl-XLS-lib.tar
# su - lpar2rrd
$ umask 022
$ cd /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd
$ ls -l perl-XLS-lib.tar
-rw-r--r-- lpar2rrd users 292978 Oct 21 13:26 perl-XLS-lib.tar.gz
$ tar xvfz perl-XLS-lib.tar.gz
